this friday will be my last ever shift at my childcare job.
i have worked there just over 4 years, caring for close to 100 children in that time. of those, there are a dozen or so little people that i fell completely in love with, and who have not been out-cuted or out-funnied by any child [or grown up, really] i’ve met since.
i was there for first words & first steps & a billion...
ugh. this is exactly why i operate on a strictly post-midnight basis. this waiting around nonsense is fucking terrible. HURRY UP.
